My Services
Individual Therapy
Individual counseling sessions are available for clients age 18 and older. A typical therapy session lasts 50 minutes. At the beginning of individual therapy, Jenn will work with you to understand your current concerns and your hopes and goals for treatment. A variety of therapeutic modalities may be used to address your unique concerns. Jenn has experience and training in various therapeutic modalities, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
Couples Therapy
Couples counseling sessions are open to individuals who are dating, engaged, married, or seeking premarital counseling. A typical couples counseling session lasts 50 minutes. These are focused sessions to help partners improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen emotional and relational bonds. I will work to understand the unique dynamics of your relationship to support your connection and facilitate meaningful change to reduce concerns and symptoms.
EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured treatment protocol used to process traumatic memory and reduce the emotional distress associated with the memory. EMDR can be used for processing difficult emotions, memories, and body sensations. Jenn has completed advanced trainings in EMDR and is currently pursuing EMDR certification. More can be found by visiting the EMDR website.
Walk and Talk Therapy
Walk and Talk Therapy provides a laid-back, approachable alternative to traditional in-office counseling by taking our conversations outside. As we walk together, you’ll have the space to talk about whatever’s on your mind. Walking side by side can make the dialogue feel more comfortable and less intense, often making it easier to share openly.
Physical movement and fresh air also offer meaningful mental health benefits—such as boosting your mood, lowering stress levels, and improving mental clarity (you can explore more in this research article here). Our route covers approximately a 1.5-mile loop—give or take depending on our pace—starting from my office and winding through Country Club Blvd and the Greenbelt trail.
If you’d like to do a Walk and Talk session, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance. You’ll need to complete a consent form beforehand. Please note that these sessions are weather-permitting and, at times, dependent on our treatment plan modalities being utilized.
